Same seller, same bass, big price jump. They are a dealer and their prices are always strong as is the case with most dealers. Nice guys. They are about an hour and a half away from me. I bought my 68 Telecaster bass from them about 3 years ago. Cost me an arm and a leg but I wanted one for a long time, and you don't see many lefties.

I think we may have reached a point of critical mass with how these are being priced. For the past few years lefty musicmasters would be sold within a few hours of being posted but the other example on eBay has been up for almost a week. I’ll be interested to see how long this listing is up for.

I thought it was the same bass until I looked close. Look at the serial number and fingerboard. Its a different bass but near exact condition and specs. I swear it was the same bass.

You're right! Wow good eye! My old eyes can't read the serial # and I didn't look that close because at a quick look it was so similar. What's the chances that the same dealer would have had too lefties that much alike and with the same style case?

I don’t think very it’s very likely. My guess is they have some of those cases in the shop or take them from righty’s to make the lefty packages more attractive. Same with the strap and chord.

It’s sold already
These lefty Musicmaster get nearly as rare as the Mustang and are quite great basses
They do not come often with an original case
So not a cheap price but a great bass
