Wiring Harness for Active P-Bass/ Advice

Post by screambasses »

So, I'm gonna put this old P-Bass up for sale. It's not a Fender. I don't know what the body is - no markings,
but it has a super-loud Bartolini 8E pup that was discontinued in the mid-80s and a sweet Warmoth neck with
the old logo, so I have to assume that it's old. I used it in my cover band to play one song - QOTSA No One Knows
because I could tune it down to C PLUS it has a cool built-in distortion which I don't know is what the pup is supposed
to sound like or not - or if it will put off potential buyers. I happen to like it. The wiring appears solid and I couldn't
find anything that stands out as wrong.

I really don't want to invest too much more money into it. What do you think?

That green cap looks kind of out of place compared to the wiring diagram from Bartolini. I wonder if they changed the behavior of the DPDT switch using it.
