to quothe the seller " there is a BIN of 3000 euros ... " thank god that disappeared!
He forgot to mention the brass nut. And I'm thinking the tuners are non origianl as well.
All in all it is nice to see something that is rarer than hen's teeth!

Yes, all the Rick's I have seen thru the years shipped with the black plastic nut. The tuners appear to be new vintage type but possibility they are original. I had an early 80's Rick so I am not an expert on the Rick's but love them. Wish I still had my black Rick. I sold it for 600$ because I needed the money at the time.

I graduated from 4 years of college for fine art. I heard that a lot back then "He did it because he needed the money" Andrew Dice would say OOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!

And I'm going near the black Rick thingy!

I believe that auction has been linked to elsewhere on the forum, but I couldn't find it. I do recall there was some doubt about that fingerboard, as it has no bindings and no sharkfin inlays. And indeed, that nut should have been black bakelite and the original pickups are missing. The tuners are the original Wavy Grovers though
