It is now June, 2011 and the asking price is below $7K. Any one have any info on this bass?

Perhaps we should start a Board pool - name the date and selling price, closest guess to the actual selling price and date gets allocades and admiration from the rest of us!! :)

he's willing to part for 6,000. I doubt he'll go below that considering 6k is a fair price. Maybe 5500 lowest

I think it would be a tough bass to play for must of us at 36" scale.

That's exactly it, IMO.

First you have to find a guy who likes booteeky cofee table basses...

Then that guy also has to have $6K laying around to spend on a USED bass...

Then he has to like 6 strings...

Then he has to like 36" scale...

THEN he also has to be a lefty.

That's one rare frikkin' breed right there.
