Hofner 500/1 Vintage '58 Reissue

Apparently this has been on Reverb for 9 months, but I only found it now. The price is considerably lower buying directly from Bass Direct, though you'd still have to figure out how to ship it inexpensively from the UK. (Anybody have a suggestion for affordable shipping?. The shipping price indicated on their Reverb listing is $169.40 to the US).

So I did some research on this particular limited edition model, and apparently Hofner only made 58 of these in total, though I don't know how many of these were made left handed. I'm guessing maybe 5 tops? At any rate, pretty unique, rare bass.
