A rarity form the magical 2012 year when Gibson forgot how much they hate lefties. Price seems a little high, but these are pretty rare and I can't gauge these things well any more  :

Is it just me or do these Gibson basses just not have that Wow factor to them? I see them and certain aspects just look like a cheap bass.

Don't get me wrong I had a Gibson bass before Thunderbird and I loved it, but these midtown basses just look eh to me.

Hi Bob- I still have your old T-Bird, and I love it. I installed EMG TB J's and a BTC, and it just kicks ass. I have all the original hardware.
I also installed a Hipshot bridge. Sadly, I think I may have to sell it, as I don't gig with it, and serious medical issues are likely going to force the liquidation of many of my basses. Getting old, is such fun. Not.

I think if it's a choice between this or a Casady bass, most people are going for the Casady.
