He has it listed as a Player model, but it looks to be an American (though I'm not seeing a serial # anywhere; parts bass?), so he may not know what he has and this could be a steal. He also seems like a 1st time lister, so you might want to be careful, but he also currently has it listed as local pickup only with a shipping option to be discussed, so if you're in the NY area you can check it out in person and make a determination.
