That is really nice for the $$, makes me wonder why in the 70's these basses did not seem to heavy.

My '78 P-bass is a boat anchor, at 11.5 lbs... but doesn't bother me; I just use wide straps...
R&B Stretch Bass, Walter Woods 1000w Green-Light Stereo Amp, AccuGroove El Whappo and TR112, assorted axes, amps, cabs...
