Excellent price for one of those. (And under G&L warranty too). Somebody should snatch it up.

I wonder if the B Stock part is the terrible string alignment? Hopefully the neck needs only to be moved within the pocket a little. It’s the only thing that kept me from buying it.

Didn't notice it until you mentioned it. It looks like the E string saddle is slightly angled, so maybe if it's straightened (as they're supposed to be) it brings the E string in a bit more from the fingerboard edge? At any rate, I'm not seeing anything too egregious overall, but might be worth an inquiry.

I did email them. Waiting to hear back, I’d really like to try a G&L

And yeah I think you’re right, looks like the saddle is just crooked.

Does anyone know if they have a return policy for b stock stuff? Website doesn’t say, as far as I can tell.

Looks like all the strings are off towards the bass side not just the E string. If you can return it at no cost probably worth a try.

Yep you’re right. Either the nut is off or the neck needs to be moved

Remember when you buy this and pay with paypal you'll still have Paypal's coverage in case they don't accept returns ;)

If that was 5-string, I would have hammered my PayPal card already!

Well I went ahead with it. They replied and said the photo wasn’t of the actual bass and that they inspect and set up before shipment.
Also, there’s a month long return period.
Hopefully this won’t suck like the short scale tributes I tried.

Thanks Tim! I just couldn’t get one of the shorties with a non-twisted neck. Such a bummer.

Congrats! You're pretty much getting the MIA electronics and PUPs in an Indonesian made bass/inspected in US for a 2010 price. These basses are big, beefy and aggressive sounding and will make your guitarist cower in a corner. :D

I bought one of those a while back. Excellent bass, but something wasn't quite right... the notes did not sound right to me on it. Like well...I'm a Luthier as some of you know. The cosmetic condition was excellent, the issue was hidden from the average person. I decided to examine the frets carefully. Although they LOOKED like they were seated well, they were NOT. I glued every fret down, using pressure, and then, leveled, recrowned and polished them. It made all the difference in the World!
A great, killer sounding bass for under 400 bucks, is a great deal. Too bad I'm just not playing it at all now.
