hard case for Jack Casady bass

Post by Agent00Soul »

Any ideas for a hard case for a lefty Jack Casady?  I bought it new this month from a place in Germany (I'm in the UK) and there wasn't any kind of covering but the cardboard box it came from the Epiphone factory in.  It's in one of my better gig bags at the moment, but the lower bout is too wide for it to be properly zipped up.  And anyway, I don't trust soft cases for semi-hollowbodies.

They seem to be out of stock everywhere right now. Does anybody know if the case is symmetrical, or if lefties will fit in a righty case?

Thanks - I was unaware that Epiphone made them and that they were symetrical. Don't know why the store didn't tell me. Anyway, they are indeed sold out of most places but I found one here in England that still had 2 in stock. It arrived today in a box with a quotation from Friedrich Nietzsche on it.
