That's a really good price.
Dan Atkinson stopped building his basses quite a few years ago
but his reputation was stellar and he always used high quality parts.

Interesting a split coil P bass style PU and no bridge PU on a Jazz body. Don't see that too often. Does seem like a fair price, although the shipping maybe a tad high. I haven't dealt with shipping a bass lately so I could be surprised. If I was looking for a 5 string I'd be interested.

That shipping cost is actually pretty fair from a seller as of late. I’ve had to pay close to that with UPS a lot lately

I've always used USPS to ship to-and-from Hawaii, as it was always cheaper than UPS, or FEDEX... not anymore! I did a "what-it?" scenario, from New Hampshire, to Santa Rosa, California, where my sister lives... USPS was $154 or more! So, went to FEDEX, and it could be shipped for about $54 ground... thanks (NOT!) Postmaster DeJoy, you POS...Matt R. wrote:That shipping cost is actually pretty fair from a seller as of late. I've always wanted a 5-string P-bass, and this very tempting, even with the high shipping cost, but am passing...
