There's a SB one listed at New Jersey Guitar & Bass Center. Piece says $1099, but it's been listed forever so maybe they'll come down. Scroll down:

I've got a natural finish one that I'm getting ready to list for under a 1000.00. It has a Tone Styler tone pot and the bass is in good condition. If you are in the lower 48 pm me. It's a Hot Rod Precision.

Just a thumbs up for New Jersey Bass and Guitar, owner is great however he has no issue holding onto items for years so not sure if he will give you a great deal to get it out the door but I always found him fair and great to work with.

Wow, that seller really doesn't know his stuff. These were literally called "Hot Rodded American Standard" and have nothing to do with the American Deluxe. Someone just added the Noiseless pickup and it must be what confuses the seller, because these were exclusive to the Am Dlx. Fender dropped the "Standard" bit from the name in 2000 when the American Series was introduced.

Here's one in natural, in France:

I think the configuration on the Fender Hot Rods are VVT (Volume, Volume, Tone) however I got a Mike Lull with a PJ Configuration and it has a V,B,T (Volume, Blend, Tone) and it really makes a difference.
