Hope it was a good one!

It was Tm! It was at a venue that I played once a week for over six years. Fist time back there in over a year and a half, courtesy of Covid. Glad they were able to weather the storm. Actually just about almost any gig is a good one right now!tim wrote:Hope it was a good one!

I won't bother talking about the price- it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. But if you're going to go through the trouble to have Paul and Ringo sign a "beatle bass", why not spend the extra $100 and at least get the cheap Hofner?

"Still trying to find some wine-tasting-style way to describe the almost-Jaco tone the bass player had going on."

I wonder if Paul looked at it and thought, "Wow, he's more of a cheapskate than I was when I bought my Hofner, and I was a real skinflint!"leftybassatl wrote:I won't bother talking about the price- it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Hey, at least it's a lefty--and also, not a Rock Band controller.
I'm a super fan of Macca with and beyond The Beatles, but I don't think I'd pay $9,000 for it. Ringo is also very hesitant to sign things now, but I'm not sure about it in the time this bass was signed.
