Just Bought a Sire

Pre-ordered a Sire V7. I’ve been wanting a cheapo 5 string for ages so I finally decided to go for it. I usually don’t play fivers (love them, just don’t really need one is all), but I like my arsenal to be a Swiss Army knife of sorts.

I know a few people on here have played them.

Thoughts? The videos/reviews are usually good. Hoping it lives up to the hype. I should have it in 4 months according to the Sire site.

I have played one from the first generation, and liked it but couldn't get along with the rather elaborate controls. I'd love to try one from the second generation, with the rolled fingerboard edges and satin neck finish. I'd go for a 5-string in Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock and rosewood fingerboard, they look awesome.
