Semi-Hollows Anyone?

Post by ch willie »

Do any of y'all play a semi-hollow body bass? I'm really wanting one. My Hofner HCT is supposed to be hollow inside, But I'd love a big bodied bass.

I'd love to see pics of what you have in that line and what you think about it.

I hadn't been on the board for several weeks- but wow  - no responses to this thread at all? Where is the semi-hollow love out there? C'mon, let's see what ya got!

I'm a huge semi-hollow fan... I'll just post pics of some "big bodies" that I have that imo are excellent basses to seek out if you're in the market... I'll be happy to elaborate on anything that anyone is interested in knowing more about:

I love semi-hollows but don't have one.
Played a Hofner but just couldn't love the pencil-thin neck.
I would love a Jack Cassidy or an Allen Woody, but neither have been offered lefty.
I could definitely go for one of the Hagstroms, maybe drop some Bi-sonics in it. :D
If I were going custom I'd definitely get a Drake and a Clement.

Looking fine here now!
Maybe it's a Google thing? Looked like you were liking from a Google account, but maybe your account settings don't allow everyone to see them.

Thanks Jeroen, I'm sure it had something to do with the Google links. I'm using OneDrive now to embed the urls... the image resolution doesn't seem as good, but it's much easier.
