The neck on that 76 looks awfully new especially from the back.

They're in like-new condition, but, still... maybe they're hoping for some Japanese collectors to come in... I would hope they're open for offers, and these prices are just their way of starting high, so they get as much as they can... reminds me of walking into a car dealership, and have to negotiate from the full-on maker's SMRP (Suggested Manufacturers Retail Price)...
