This bass looks familiar. It might have been owned by LB board member "bbl" at some point. If so its heavy and solid as hell. I played this one before... "IF" its the same bass.

Same guy is selling the Yamaha BB noted in another thread, and it’s the same dude I purchased my ATK from - nice guy to do business with.

I have 20 something basses and I have 3 G&L's (LB-100, JB-2 and L2000). I do not think the L2000 is any heavier than a Music Man, Fender P or like basses. I would guess around 9 maybe 9.5LBs.

Now if I had to thin the heard to 5 basses this would be one of the 5 as it's my favorite G&L and just a great bass overall with the Switching Control system you can get some amazing sounds. Here are the controls:

CONTROLS G&L Tri-Tone active/passive electronics, 3-way mini-toggle pickup selector, series/parallel mini-toggle, preamp control mini-toggle (off/on/on with high end EQ boost)

If anyone is interested, for the price this looks to be an amazing bass!!!

Gosh I really like that honey color. Great looking bass. I've never played a G&L and I'm beginning to think I'm missing out.
