Is this a Hot Rod P? I'm not familiar with this Fender P configuration. And can someone tell me the story behind the two serial numbers on the back of the headstock? It looks to me like the 2nd one ( the upside down one ) might be some kind of store ID superimposed on the picture???

hot Rod P (?) on the bay
Re: hot Rod P (?) on the bay
Looks like it could be. Corona California; S/n approx 1999. J/P pups with the 3 controls, bridge, tuner key hardware, design and logo on the headstock all pretty much identical to my 99 HRP. I don't see anything out of place for a Hot Rod. Can't explain the other serial number tho, never seen that before. Maybe ask the seller?

Maybe it's the owner's phone number?

I have the same one in sunburst, bought it in 2001, but I believe it's a 2000 model.
I may be listing it here in the future, just not using it. Will keep you posted!
