Bongo swap; my five string for your four string?

Post by orcabassist »

I doubt anyone will be in this boat, but I have a five-string stealth Bongo I'd be interested in trading for a four-string. I'm not interested in any other basses as a trade as I love the Bongo, I just like four strings more the more I play them.

It's in mint condition and has been very well taken care of, the ebony fretboard is very nice on this one. If anyone would be interested in trading, color isn't important to me, but condition is. I'd like one in just as good of shape as mine is, and I will provide pictures if this gets any bites or when I get some down time to get that taken care of.

Thanks for looking!

As nice as those SB-1's are, I'm in love with the sound of the Bongo, just not in love with the amount of strings mine has, but unfortunately they're getting hard to find it seems, and EMBB was nice enough to make the unavailable in lefty.

Bonus pictures of my jazz and pedalboard (which now has the Alpha Omicron on it).

I honestly would have rather gotten one in a cool color, but stealth is the only way I could have gotten the ebony fretboard and I really wanted that.

You know what, I really think the Bongo looks really cool with the single pickup. It really balances the look out compared to two.

I also love the weird colors they use on those things.

The things I'd do for that single pickup one. Haha. Has anyone here ever purchased from Bass Central? They have a four string in silver for 1,400 which is a really good price.

Whatever happened to the king of Lefthanzia? He doesn't seem to be on any of the forums anymore and I sent him a PM almost a year ago that was never opened. He was awesome!

Sorry I haven't logged in for a while, I forgot my password, a friend came in from out of town, the bridge was out, LOCUSTS!!! I guess you don't see messages if you aren't logged in, sorry about that. I've been lurking I guess, I check the southpaw finds almost daily. First time I've checked the wanted page and just saw this thread. I'm living at the beach in South Carolina and haven't played bass in years, still have 25 or so. But I keep thinking I'll pick it up again.
