This Picture was Deja Vu, so I looked in my Ebay history and I purchased the same exact bass from this same seller in June 2016. He uses the same Marshall Amp background for all pictures. I am sure the sale is legit as he has an excellent Ebay rating.

I did want to say that Fender Japan Maple Neck Basses are amazing and this one at amazing price, the Free Shipping is a great deal as well. I believe I got my bass from Japan from this same dealer in less than a 5 days.

For my bass I put on a Gold Anodized Pickguard and added a Bridge cover for a retro look.

Mine was basswood too. Very lightweight, and sounded alright. Warm and thumping.

Would love to snatch this one and order a Warmoth ash body for it!
But my gas list has been officially fulfilled!
That’s a great price, you can’t even find these very often for sale and the neck is amazing.

The description in the listing says basswood.

Good price, definitely. Are these MIJ '57 necks accurate to originals though (should be a fairly thick C). One thing that's always kind of annoyed me about the MIJs is the neck profiles/radiuses frequently bear no resemblance to accuracy. I bought a '62 P neck from Stratosphere and sent it right back.

Did you have to pay any duty charges as it was shipped from Japan? Thanks

I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet!
