1974 Fender Precision Bass
Re: 1974 Fender Precision Bass
That is very good for the year. What year did the thumb rest move to the other side of the strings?
Re: 1974 Fender Precision Bass
Thumb rest moved in '74.
Re: 1974 Fender Precision Bass
That is a great price for a '74, especially with the maple cap board. Lots of other dealers would be charging twice the price!!
Speaking of expensive .....

Yep, I saw that one too, though I was keeping it quiet in hopes that there was an outside chance I'd "find" 12 grand over the next few days.AzWhoFan wrote:Speaking of expensive .....

ya know, I was a bit hesitant about posting that link, but I figured if someone here had 12.5 large burning a hole in their pocket, it'd be gone already!pjmuck wrote:Yep, I saw that one too, though I was keeping it quiet in hopes that there was an outside chance I'd "find" 12 grand over the next few days.AzWhoFan wrote:Speaking of expensive .....

Re: 1974 Fender Precision Bass
Is that Fender logo an aftermarket for the 1964 Jazz bass? I thought back then there was only the Fender solo.
