Woah!! Killer! Looks like it's got a fretted neck on it now according to the TB listing. This pic shows the older fretless neck, FYI.

I used to own that bass. I had Rob swap out the original fretted neck with a fretless neck and I guess this guy had it switched back to a fretted neck with LEDs.

Cool! How was it? I've never had the pleasure of dabbling with a Status bass.

At the time I really wanted to get a neck thru 5 string fretless S3 with a 32" scale neck but they are very expensive and I wasn't sure about the shorter scale length. Then this bass popped up on the Status website and so I had Rob switch the neck. This allowed me to see if the 32" scale would work for me and it was a lot of fun. After a while I sold the bass and put the money towards the S3 neck thru with LED's which I still have along with my 6 string fretless 34" S2.

I'd like to get a 34" headed S2 4 string. My friend has a Status bass and it's killer.

Agreed. I bought a headless 4-string S2 bolt-on recently and I love it!

Ah, that white one! Spotted that some time ago indeed.
Great bass! Curious to hear how you like it.

Yes, and a very nice one too. I've been in touch with the seller, but he would like to trade for a Jazz and I'm not really looking to part with mine.

I was able to work out a trade. Looks like I'll be shipping my SR5 off to the UK this weekend!
