mine is not terribly heavy - definitely not a boat anchor, and much better than my '77 jbass.
A really cool bass with a killer sound. I've been pondering around switching the EMGs out for some Bartolinis, to mellow the sound out a bit and create some more mid/high room.
Are you going to put a haz board in?
