I'm not sure if I'm close enough but according to my calculations, after Ebay fees and PayPal fees he must made about $1500, right?
Yup.. He will walk with $1500, $1600 if he's lucky. Gross 2K parting out the bass. Shame!!!

Here is a shot of my 5 Jan 73' P bass I would never part with for that cheap.

Hi Guys, I won the Body, Neck, Neck Plate (contains SN), Strap Holders and Bridge. I was outbid tuners and Thumb rest. I did not bid on the pick guard and the Pick Ups were already way too high to bid. So my plan is put it back together, I have a nice 70's Pick Guard and will add tuners and electronics to get it back to a playing bass. Then over the next 3-5 years will search for 70's Tuners and Electronics.

I will share a Pic once it is back together and "Thanks" to all of you for your input it really helped me make a decision.

Nice, man... It went to someone here.. Ummm.... I won the thumb rest ;) I needed one for my old P bass. I bid high on the pick guard but got outbid. Someone bid REAL high on it to beat me.

Congrats, Bob. Looks like you got IMO the most critical parts to create a player.

Hi guys, just a quick update. I received the body, neck, bridge, strap locks and neck plate last week and put it together. I have an older P Bass pickguard and used some modern electronics to make it playable. I just won a 72 P Bass Pick Up and I am searching for Early 70's Pot's and Input Jack. A fellow board member was cool enough to send me Tuners and I have them installed.

So right now it plays great and in the next six months I am sure I will have all early 70's electronics on board. My goal was to have it match my 67 Tele and I did that. Below is picture of both of them.
