Saied Music here in Tulsa brought in two of these in 2008...I got one and this is the other.

I bought it and got it a few days ago. . . Thanks, Paulo.
So far, I love it. This is probably the most bass for money I've ever gotten. The fit and finish are just perfect. Set it up in minutes. Has a few high frets, but very subtle, not enough to spend money on a leveling. Really digging the neck pickup, it's like a super sensitive and growly P-Bass. I'm not a fan of anything wider than a 1-1/2" neck, but this even being 1-3/4" it's really playable. I like the wide frets, they feel like vintage Fender.
I can't believe that I've never had an L-2000 before. I've sold all my basses and only have my vintage P and J, so this is the perfect complement both in sound and value. Giggling all the time with my irreplaceable Fender makes me uneasy. . .
I think that these are worth every penny of the $700 they cost new, so at $360, I'm still laughing. Musician Friends and Reverb have a few like-new ones at good prices.

Congrats!
I'm glad you got this one and really like it! Can't go wrong with this bass!
At the time when I had mine I liked it a lot but didn't used much and at the time the knobs and switches used to make really confused and I could never get used to it so I sold it, hope the guy who bought it is enjoying it!
Now I had a chance to get a 93 L2k and I like it a lot!
Enjoy!!

You got a steal! I got mine for $400 through Guitar Center and freaking love it. Once you get used to the permutations it already has, check out the K-switch/single-coil mod. It unlocks the monster truck J-bass tones!Lefty007 wrote:I bought it and got it a few days ago. . . Thanks, Paulo.
