It looks real as far as I can tell, judging by the fretboard and body shape. I would guess that would be a custom finish, though. I dig it.
That bridge is not from 1975. The two extra screws in the back weren't added until '84 or so. Pictures of the truss rods would help determine a year range (or the serial number, of course).

I actually think this is the "Ruby" or "RubyGlo" colour. I also think there is a binding on the bass, it's just hard to see because it's black like the rest of the hardware/pickguard/trussrod cover etc... (Plus the photo ain't great.) Here's an example from the headstock of an old 330 from sometime in the '80s.
Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.
