Fender CS Journeyman Relics - 57P and 66J

Post by bbl »

Found these listings on music123. No pics yet. Says the P ships in March and the J is in stock and ready to ship now [?!?!]

Descriptions say the P is two tone sunburst with maple fb and gold pg and the J is faded sonic blue with rw pg.

Sounds delicious. Glad I've already got my Fender fix.

Are these a production run CS bass? ie. are these one offs or no?

They must be production runs. Guitar Center also has a lefty CS 57 P and 66 Jazz on their website due in in March 2017. My guess is Fender is building a few of their Journeyman models in lefty versions. I've never owned nor played a Custom Shop Fender. Are these worth $3250.?

That's the million dollar question. Or, at least the $3250 question. :)

I suppose it's a matter of personal preference.

Seems to me these are cross-posts. Music123 is owned by GC, no? So is Zzounds IIRC, but the listings have not shown up on Zzounds yet.

Yes and I love it but I'm considering selling it because I bought a 1968 that emptied my bank account. So if someone is interested at getting this great bass at a better price here is your chance.
