WTB Sage Green Jazz Bass

Post by donahue »

Hi guys. I'm really bummed out I missed the Sage Green Jazz Bass for sale here recently. I loved that bass, just didn't have the money at the time. If anybody has one or knows of one I'd like to buy it. I have Jazz Bass Fever and want one that isnt black, burst, or natural. Preferably Sage Green. Thanks.

I'm really jonesing for one of these guys. I have a vision in my head. Would be my first Jazz Bass. I'm not sure how rare the sage green is. Maybe pretty rare? If anyone has one they're on the fence about selling, perhaps I can make you a good offer to persuade you. Heck even if someone has a body I'll buy it and build one up.

Can certainly understand you, had one in sage green that I loved. But at the time 2 yrs ago I had too many basses and sold it.

I see one once or twice a year for sale, if I see one I"ll let you know...

That is a nice color. I need to hold off, however, or I won't have the funds when a sage one does pop up.

You could also have your local body shop refinish it for you.
I have a body that I want to refinish and want to ask around to see if they would do it!
But then if you want one ready to go you should wait! :)

Here's a jazz bass I put together that I would consider selling. It's not sage green. It's a nice custom sea foam green with a slight pearl clear coat. It's in like new condition. If you're interested, give me a call. 301-932-2734. -Wolf

There's entirely too much good taste on this board. So many WANT-able guitars...

I've got a gig tonight so you won't be able to get me by then. I'll be around tomorrow, before leaving for another evening gig. Leave a message if you get my voicemail and I'll call you back.

Thanks Paulo. Actually this picture doesn't do it justice. Pretty grainy. Not sure why. I put it up quick in between gigs. First picture I've posted on this site. I've only posted links in the past. When I get some time I'll figure it out.

Thanks! I'm going to email for some more pics. It looks to be almost blue metallic, which is also very cool, but it could be the lighting. In the meantime I purchased that fantastic green bass above from Wolf, made a few changes, and like it alot!
