R-BASS 5 STRING DCR5 NATURAL FINISH

Post by markcv »

Hey all,

Not sure if anybody has posted this before but this bass is at Bass and Beyond in Rancho Cordova, CA. I was interested in it for a bit but don't know much about these basses. Any comments?

Pretty! Reminds me somewhat of an ESP Halibut, but lacking the carved top:

Their regular models remind me of Fodera and Noguera.

Did you check the price on that Wenge ESP Halibut? 630,000 Yen. Roughly $6,500 US. Woof! Even the ash version is $5,500 (525,000 yen). Nice bass but very pricy.

Yes, a lot of money for a Japanese-made bolt on neck model.
