Latest update:
I e-mailed Gaskell a few questions regarding specs, and this was their response:
-No pickguard option.
-Available in standard gloss colors as per the color chart with chrome hardware or in flat black finish with flat black (goth) hardware. (FYI, link to color chart: http://www.gaskellguitars.com/downloads.html)
-No 'burst' or 'quilted' color schemes at this stage.
-Camoflauge color schemes are ok, with extra cost.
- Body is std basswood + maple neck + rosewood fretboard.
The X bass is now listed under their "models" section, albeit with no further info other than another photo of our well-endowed friend, but I assume they'll get more details up there soon. I'm not sure if they're taking orders yet or are holding to their early MAY ETA on delivery.
