Badass II Bridge

I don't suppose anyone has a Badass II laying around, do you? Preferably pre-slotted .

If you can wait a month or three, Hipshot has a new "KickAss" bridge coming out that is an homage to the defunct BadAss. Looks pretty awesome. They have a pic of it on their FB page.
Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

Interesting. I had not considered gold. The bass it is going on is black. Maybe I could get some gold tuners and a gold pickguard to go with it, since I plan on putting a D-tuner and new pickguard on it anyway. Maybe even some gold strings! That could look pretty sleek! (Or, just gaudy )
Maybe a black pickguard would look better in that situation ... that would be easier to find, anyway.

Let me know if you find it and want to sell!

Thanks, Jason! I wonder how the Hipshot brand would compare to the Leo Quan.

Black with black PG and gold hardware for that bass seems to be a great look!

And a gold control plate! I am really starting to like this idea. Getting a black pickguard would be so much easier. I could buy it right off of eBay instead of having to have one custom made (I was originally going to go with crème).

I wonder if a regular jazz control cover will fit on a lefty bass. They look pretty symmetrical...

Yeah, the control plate is symmetrical, so it works both ways.

Thanks, Pete! Now that I think about it, the black cover might look better than gold, but I think I will order a gold as well just to see the difference.

I'm pretty sure the new Allparts Omega is the exact bridge that the badasses were, at least that's what I heard from my tech. I haven't got to see one yet, but he's installed a couple and said he can't tell a difference. Plus they're only around 70 bucks.
