Eastwood Gibson RD Artist Bass!

Post by pjmuck »

Now here's one I can really sink my teeth into. :D Eastwood's currently taking funds to launch their version of the Gibson RD Artist bass. I assume, as before, that if we came up with the minimum number of lefty orders they'd offer them lefty too. This will obviously be a much scaled back RD Artist and not the higher end active model with the built in Bob Moog electronics, compression, etc. So technically it's based on the RD Standard and not the RD Artist. And I'm not sure what finishes they're offering yet:

Wow. That is awesome! Too bad they didn't make it past 5 Pledgers and won't build it.

That photograph they're using is of an actual Gibson Krist Novoselic signature model, based on the RD Standard but with regular Jazz style pickups (SD Quarter Pounders in this case). I wonder what Eastwood would have used.
