La Bella Flats are stainless steel. :o
Indeed they are.. I was in kind of a hurry, and omitted the Round Wound part. But, mainly, I just dislike D'Addario strings - and being stainless round wounds just increases my dislike... :D

Received mine yesterday from Thomann. Great bass, but awful buzz at eighth fret on the A string, definitely a fret problem. Bass unplayable. Also action too high on the frets after the 12th.

The inside tag cards says something like "Amazing frets" ... Yeah right ...

No hard case.

Packed the bass back, return to sender.

I just hope i don't need to wait another two months to get a replacement.

Doesn't sound like a great bass.

I mean great from an aestethical and tonal perspective ... but it's unplayable. :(

Anyway thomann cc replied quickly, so i hope the whole thing will be sorted quickly.

Pity yours is a dud, luckily Thomann's customer service is top notch (personal experience).

I got mine today. Nothing to complain about. Great fretwork and no dings or other In the finish. I will replace the roundwound strings with some flats soon. :)
