I read the Johnny Winter bio "Raisin' Cain" a few months ago and would highly recommend it. Especially for you younger guys who may not be that familiar with one of the greatest blues guitarists and bottle neck slide players ever. Part cautionary tale of the dangers of drug use and bad management, but mostly about a man of the utmost integrity when it came to his music. A man who stuck to his love of the blues when he could have been way more commercially successful in the rock idiom. The world will never see another talent like his.
