But I have to wonder how many of those limited edition l-1000 did G&L produce? I knew of Rocket, obviously, but Bass northwest is new for me and I am wondering if there are others...

Yeah I don't know how many are being done. Bass Northwest has 4 in stock right now, and Greg from Rocket said he will do another order if there is interest. Still, the total can't be more than a few dozen. I wonder if they might bring back the L1000 as a regular model. They did bring back the LB100 after a long absence, so we'll see I guess.

Well I hope that making a dozen or two of the l-1000 won't motivate G&L to manufacture more: it will seriously diminish the value of ours

Yeah I thought so too its like 2 1/2 weeks from when I ordered it. Either they're not very busy or they're giving this a priority. Rocket is a pretty active dealer maybe it's a favor for them dunno.
