Gibson offers lefty Thunderbird basses.JazzPunkMessiah wrote:wont find a gibson of course and those other brings are just knockoffs, not worth it all.
Re: looking for a thunderbird
I have a totally worked-over Dillion. Bought it from Southpaw and had Performance Guitar in Hollywood (legendary 80s guys) replace the pick guard and truss cover w/ blank 3-ply, replace the p/u s w/ EMG passives (no routing needed), new tuning keys (Kluson), Gibson pots and knobs, re-wired and very solid re-dressing of the frets, set-up, etc. It's tobacco burst.
Then Gibson made them in lefty, so I bought one of those. And no longer need this.
