Agreed, great price. I just would never do a one piece neck. Particularly on a neck through and double particularly on a 6 string. Nice, no, not "nice", "necessary" to have the extra strength of a multi-piece neck. I'm surprised they offer those still like that. Care to chime in Rodent on that point?

I cried real tears when I saw that bass, and at that price. I would have paid $800 and would have been happy as hell. :cry: Oh well, I just came across this forum, which is an awesome idea by the way. Maybe next time.
Concerning a neck through 6 string, I have had a neck through 6 string for many years, and have never thought of it any different than my other 5 string neck through. Never had any issues.

@CarvinChuck: neck through basses don't bother me but a one piece neck on a neck through is not something I would choose. I would rather have the additional strength and stiffness that a laminated multi-piece neck would provide... on a neck through. YMMV.
