There's a guy in CL bay area selling one -looks brand new -for $200. It's black and he had it listed for about 2 month.

My bad, it's not black but it's this one. Still the tags on it. It's about an hour and half from where I live otherwise I would have checked it for you. I think it's the best deal you'll find though and the guy is legit, I talked to him about another bass he was selling before and I called him for this one too. I almost went for it as I really love the thumpy sound of those DC's but I decided to keep my GAS in check.

The guy in SF was reluctant to ship ( of course I was willing to pay shipping) I found another silver sparkle at a guitar center in Michigan for $179. and it'S on the way to Jersey as we speak. Owned one of these a few years ago . Great back up bass with a unique tone and good thump.

Geez, what a great deal for $179! For that price, you can't afford NOT to buy it!

Yea $179. seems a steal considering I paid $350. for an identical bass from Bass Northwest about 5-6 years ago.

Now you could just sell the Bass Northwest bass for a $250-or-so, you could turn a profit out of purchasing your Danos! 8-)

I have black Korean DC Bass. If anyone really wants one, I'd be willing to sell it. It's really cool, but I simply never play it.

Hi Folks,

I've just noticed that Old Town Music here in Portland Oregon is listing the following on their Facebook page:

Danelectro Lefty DC Bass 2 pickup $199

This just came into the shop, from a used-gear road trip they go on. I have not seen it, but I'd give em a call if you are interested:
