https://soundcloud.com/#user138913991/o ... -days-v3-1 I just noticed it's an https URL, hope that doesn't cause anyone any issues, as I did create it as a public file.
Pescription Electronics depth charge fuzz.
Chain:
Regenerate Tribute 55 -> Depth Charge fuzz -> El Capistan echo -> LM II -> Bergantino HT/EX 112 stack -> Shure Beta 58 -> RME FF800 => Live 8.
No additional effects/processing done. What you hear is what you get, warts and all.
On the fuzz, Volume and Gain are maxed out. The blend is at about 80% and the tone is at about 90%.
I noticed that on this particular fuzz, you only achive unity gain if the Vol and Blend are maxed out. Backing off on either produced a noticleable drop in the dry signal, which to me seems counter-intuitive.

Re: Depth Charge
Thanks, new link works.
Does it have a low pass filter? Not hearing it much on the low notes, it seems like it lets the low fundamental through and fuzzes up the top end? I like the pedal's voice, it seems like a more aggressive than smooth fuzz but not unruly like a lot of fuzz pedals.
Thanks for posting this!

Re: Depth Charge
Yeah it sounds nice! It's cool there is a clean blend otherwise I find them difficult to use with a bass.
Re: Depth Charge
thanks guys. If I am not too hung over tomorrow, I hope to put up a few more quickie samples. One tone I stumbled upon was very close to the Jack Bruce solo tone from Zappa's Apostrophe album from wayyyyyyyyyyyy back when.
