Cool little instruments. A guy I know has three of these (all lefty). He's been trying to sell one of them (a white one, older than the one being sold here so with different tuners) for ages but nobody will take it. Really strange! It has been modified in the past, someone routed it for a Fender Wide Range Humbucker in the sweet spot and there's been a dual-lipstick humbucker in it for some time, but it has a new pickguard now with an original pickup from the original year of manufacture and it's a great little bass. He's asking only 550 euros but it just won't sell :|

If I had a use for it I would have been all over it!

waitaminnit ... isn't the only female member of our universe looking for one of these? Maybe she'd be interested in your friend's bass?

I got the black one. Getting intonated as I type. Plays awesome. I've been looking on and off for almost 16 years for a Mustang or Musicmaster so I'm thrilled to finally have one. :-)
