Jerry is notorious for not responding to e-mails quickly, if at all. Best bet is to call him.funky42 wrote:ITS FOR SALE CHRIS,YA GOT TO EMAIL HIM IF YOUR INTERESTED!!!! I DONT THINK I WANT TO KNOW THE PRICE OF THIS ONE!!!! LOL

You would have guessed right, though I think he told me it was $5400 or $5500.iozz wrote:$5500 I guess
I called him and talked to him about it. It's a reliced 51 Custom shop bass. Obviously very sweet bass, and way too many dollars for my tastes. I encouraged Jerry to up his lefty line up by giving Rod a call as well so that he can stock some of Rod's Regenerate Guitar Works products.

Ha! You're second in line after Funky John... but don't hold your breath!gravesbass wrote:I'll take Chris' Seafoam Jazz, thank you!
$5500 seems like a lot, but when you think of what a real '51 would cost and then add to that the fact that this bass is probably built better and sounds at least as good as any "real" '51 out there *ducks for cover*
It's also not going to lose any significant value either... the market's down right now, but in a better economy you could probably easily sell that bass for more than what you paid for it.
As for me, I'm saving my money up for this one...
