There's never a good answer to that question :D
Seriously though, I try to sell as many basses as I buy, keeping the count more or less constant at 6-7 instruments.
I currently have:
- 78 ric
- spector
- your j bass dlx
- acoustic martin
- old hohner headless
- hilton 5 string (on order)

Plus i have for sale:
- fretless warwick
- japanese 62 ri
