Interesting MTD's

Post by velalv »

Hi all:

Was in teh Detroit area this week and had a chance to visit Motor City Guitars in Detroit. I was impressed with the fact that they had 8 left handed basses in stock, not all beginner Squire basses either. They had a red Ibanez, a Warwick Rockbass Streamer, and others.

The ones I thought were truly interesting were two MTD that they had in standard colors. One was a 5 String Fretless for $1036 and the other was 6 string bass for $1149 (I might be off by a few dollars). I have pictures, but I could not load them. If you are interested let me know, and I will send it to you by PM or by email.

I don't play fretless or ERB's, but these, and the ones I played at Regenerate guitars (our resident luthier Rod's company) have me reconsidering.

I think it's 'Extended Range Bass', or more than four strings.

That is exactly what I meant. I just play fretted four string basses right now.
