Ok so let’s say it really is a bass made by Wolf Guitars whoever that is. WG says its prototype (implying a design by them) he says it has a “GORGEOUS FIGURED SELECT BASSWOOD BODY” I wasn’t aware those words could be strung together in a serious manner. The volume knob is so close to the neck pickups and strings it’s almost touching but hey it’s his prototype right?

Or is it a home project done from one of these? :? I ok with it just call it what it is bro some of us do look around. :D

thumbslam - I agree with you! I didn't have time to write at length earlier, but it is a very raw looking build, and the finish looks terrible! I laughed myself about the body description which says "WITH A SEMI SIMULATED WORN GREEN FINISH ON THE TOP OF THIS GORGEOUS FIGURED SELECT BASSWOOD BODY ( THIS SPECIES IS A MUCH STURDIER , STILL LIGHT BUT NOT TOO LIGHT, WITH A LOT OF CHARACTER. THEY CALL IT BASSWOOD BUT IT'S A CLOSE RELATIVE.)"..... relative of what?

Yeah, it's wrong on so many levels, but I enjoyed his description of "dings" etc, to simulate aging.... I think the description probably makes up for his build process, where he dinged it, and put on a lousy tint and finish, and now describes it as an "aged" look. Can't blame the guy for trying... and I think I'll take the kit-bass you posted!

**Scrolling thru his feedback history shows a purchase on 2/27/2012 for $179.95 (or offer made)

if the kit seller was selling them for 150 I would have already bought one months ago becase that is a Jackson Kelly copy and you ALL know how much I like Jacksons

OR if Wolf's unit was 150 shipped I would think about it because I would have to have it repainted anyway and especially on the back where the dumb-dork used screws for the pickups too long and poked thru the back.

and hey,....if the neck is junk I would just use a neck off my spare Charvel cause it would be fun to have a kelly body unit in the lefty lounge over here.
