Look at the other pix in the auction, particularly the back of the bass closeup shot. The blue's lighter. Looks Azureglo to me.AzWhoFan wrote:eh, it looks like midnite blue to me , not AzureGlo.
The new midnight finish is gorgeous though. I had a righty 4003 here a few months ago that I bought on closeout from Musicians Friend for $1100 and flipped on ebay.

I just want to shake people by the shoulders when I see stuff like this and say "You won't sound like Paul McCartney because you own this. You won't sound like Hendrix if you own a 1968 Strat and flip it upside down. They could have played anything and still sounded like Paul & Jimi because that's who they were. You need to sound like YOU!"fivebass52 wrote:Is this for real? Is that anywhere close to an accurate figure, or is this guy dreaming of dollar signs by way the McCartney association?
The same equipment doesn't make you a clone, however much the instrument sellers have always tried to convince people otherwise...

What ever happened to originality, dedication, and a pinch of creativity?
I guess I'd make a terrible businessman.
