I love rickenbackers but they have become the most overpriced basses on this here planet.

Wonder what happened to the original truss rod logo cover..... This one is right handed. They should be written lefty even tho the plate is reversed. My 86' was.

It's in the description, it broke and ric replaced it

Look at the other pix in the auction, particularly the back of the bass closeup shot. The blue's lighter. Looks Azureglo to me.

The new midnight finish is gorgeous though. I had a righty 4003 here a few months ago that I bought on closeout from Musicians Friend for $1100 and flipped on ebay.

You need to sound like YOU!"

The same equipment doesn't make you a clone, however much the instrument sellers have always tried to convince people otherwise...
