Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass (LEFTY, of course!)

Post by MysticBoo »

I'm selling a true prize - a lefty MIA Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass in mint condition. I've only owned it for a very brief period of time. Due to financial hardship, I have no choice but to let this one go...

Normally, they sell for $1600-$1700 +tax at any music shop you can think of. I'm willing to take a hit on this one in order to get it sold.

I'm also including a Fender vintage-style hardshell case (one of the really nice tolex/vinyl covered ones - no cheap plastic here!). These cases cost $179 +tax, and are not the standard molded plastic cases that come with these basses. I'm including it for free!

Basic Specs:

* 3-Tone Sunburst Body Finish
* Select alder body
* Graphite-reinforced maple neck with modern C shape and a satin polyurethane finish
* Rosewood fingerboard
* 9-1/2" radius
* 22 medium-jumbo frets
* Chrome-plated hardware
* Deluxe bridge that allows either string-thru or top loading
* Chrome-plated brass bridge saddles
* Lite-Bass tuners with vintage cloverleaf keys
* 2 dual-coil Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Jazz pickups
* Master volume and pan pot for pickup switching
* 3-band active EQ

It is currently strung up with the original stock Fender Super Bass strings (8250M, if I remember correctly).

I'm selling it for $1200 shipped, within the continental U.S. (I'll offer an adjusted price to those in Hawaii, Alaska, and outlying U.S. territories). PayPal preferred. If you are interested, PM me or e-mail me at themysticboo@gmail.com.

I'll post photos soon.

Wow, that case looks great with that bass. What a rich looking combo with the sunburst. Is that a G+G case?
