I picked one of these up a few years ago and loved it in a way no man should love an inanimate object. Fast forward a few months later, I get laid off and had to hock it to pay the bills. Now I'm looking to pick another one up, but can't afford to buy new ($700+shipping to Canada+duty, etc). Can anyone help me track one down second hand? I've tried ebay, kijiji and here....where else should I be hunting?
It won't fall from the sky but if you take your time you should find one. Although, It is such a good bass for the price that most peeps will hold onto it.
Now, I've seen a few USA L-2000 going for $600. It might be out of your price range but possibly worth waiting and saving a few more pennys.
There was one that initially belonged to board member bbl for sale on CL bay area for $600. It was for sale for awhile, i think i had posted it in Southpaw spotted. Aind I have seen some on ebay too.
