Heritage is a good company to deal with. But, being the cheap-a$$ed guy that I am, I get turned off by their "buyer's premium". I much prefer a one-size-fit's-all pricing approach.

What's the buyer's premium approach?
If you look at the fine print on Heritage's website, the buyer's premium refers to the surcharge a buyer pays at the close of auction. IIRC, it's like 20% (?) for the Ric bass. The percentage varies slightly from auction to auction.
