I went afk for a minute, the bass jumped from $820 to $1625 in a heartbeat. Still not a bad deal for who ever got it

It was me. Saw it was going pretty low, and decided to throw in the last second bid, and...oops- I've just bought a Bass!bigevilrobot wrote:I went afk for a minute, the bass jumped from $820 to $1625 in a heartbeat. Still not a bad deal for who ever got it
Will post pics and update once I have a chance to get everything cleaned up and set up.

Nice score Carmine!
Re: 1979 Fender Jazz Bass
Thanks! I'm feeling very good about it. Trying to determine market value for a 70's Lefty Fender Jazz is a fools game anymore, and obviously the non-original electronics held the price down. But given that the bass is physically about an 8 of 10, and fully restorable, I really didn't think my bid was going to be a winner.
Now then...who has some late 70's Jazz pickups and pots they want to part with?
