That is a ridiculous price and on top it might get bought by someone who will never play the bass. It is a shame !

Had 2 of these 1960 P Basses at one point.(tho not in quite as good condition as this one) Paid $1250. from Norman's Rare Guitars and $900. from Frank Lucido in Hollywood (bought both in 1980) Traded one in 1986 for a 1984 Steinberger L2 ( which I still own) and sold the other for $1500. to Mandolin Bros. in Staten Island in 1994. Who knew!
